The knee prosthesis you will forget about – no handicap with artificial joint!

This 65 year old patient received a unicondylar knee prosthesis from me 3 months ago (also called "sled prosthesis"). It is important to note the individual ligament tension and pre-existing leg axis so that the new artificial joint surface does not interfere. As a rule, I can use this prosthesis in a minimally invasive manner and all ligaments and tendons remain intact and preserved. Once the postoperative swelling has been overcome, flexibility and muscle strength can be trained again. After 3 months, small jumps and sports are possible again.
